According to Variety, Brand New Day’s leak reached 5.9million accounts, with over 143,000 likes and 10,000 reshares before it was taken down over nine hours later. Studio Sony is yet to comment on the leak. Following The Odyssey’s leak, Universal said: “We became aware of the unauthorised posting of the film and immediately initiated takedown protocols. We take copyright infringement seriously and will pursue all appropriate remedies to protect our content and intellectual property rights.” Brand New Day sees Holland return as the titular Marvel superhero after being forgotten in previous film No Way Home, as he faces a dangerous new threat.
