Sunwaves is back in 2025 with two annual festivals, returning to Romania and following up a successful Spanish edition.

Get ready for an unforgettable experience as Sunwaves Festival returns to the Black Sea and the Mediterranean in 2025. Known for its simplicity, beachside setting, and nonstop music, Sunwaves continues to be one of the most anticipated events in underground house music. Next year’s editions promise even more of what makes it so special.

The first event will take place in Mamaia Nord, Romania, from May 1–5. This spring edition will see Sunwaves return to its roots, bringing together thousands of dedicated festival-goers to dance by the Black Sea. As always, expect the signature mix of top-notch minimal and house talent, outstanding sound quality, and an experience that focuses entirely on the music. The lineup hasn’t been revealed yet, but with Sunwaves’ reputation, you can count on a stellar group of artists.

For those who can’t get enough, the fun continues with a second edition later in the year, this time heading back to Spain. Roquetas de Mar, Almería, will host Sunwaves from September 4–8. Following an impressive Spanish debut in 2024, this Mediterranean edition will bring the festival’s unmistakable uniqueness to Las Salinas Beach once again, blending beautiful coastal views with extended sets from some of the best in minimal and house music.

Whether you have been before or this is your first time hearing of the festival, Sunwaves offers a unique atmosphere that sets it apart from everything else. It’s all about the music, the people, and the dancefloor. No gimmicks, no distractions, just the pure joy of losing yourself in music. With early bird tickets now on sale, make sure you don’t miss your chance to be part of this special celebration.
