Susanne Sundfør has announced her new album ‘Revelations Of Divine Love’ with the ethereal single ‘I It Am’. Sundfør’s new album will focus on “her renewed understanding of love, inspired by becoming a mother of two and moving to the countryside in the time since her 2023 album ‘blómi,'” according to a press release. “We live in a world of horror, full of unhappy, unsatisfied people doing terrible things to each other,” she said of the album. “You don’t have to be religious to believe that love is the answer. Swap the word God for love and you have a higher power that is universal.” Recorded with only a pipe organ and a voice live in a Norwegian church, Sundfør’s lyrics will be based on Grace Warrack’s 1901 translation of ‘Revelations of Divine Love’.
