Taylor Swift Announces New Single “Patient Zero”

Pop’s resident Jigsaw wants to play another game. Taylor Swift has spent the last week dropping her characteristic easter eggs: She changed her Instagram bio to “And, baby, that's sh0w business f0r y0u. ❤️‍🔥”; tweaked the layout of the “Read My Letter” page of her website (yes, these things are significant); and, in a Law & Order-themed skit that aired during the 2026 Emmy Awards on Monday, September 14, rattled off a string of nonsense words that apparently unscramble to reveal the message “HI MY FIRST RECORD’S RE-RECORD IS OUT NOV TEN. AHAHAHA.”As of today, Swift has not shared any plans around Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version). She has, however, announced a new single.
