The Drin Announce New Album I Lost My Way For Centuries: Hear “Haven’t Lived It Yet”

Of the many great underground rock bands currently populating Cincinnati, the Drin may be the toughest to pin down. The group came on our radar playing a fried, bleary, extremely confident hybrid of throwback psych and post-punk, sounding equally like Can and the Fall. That sound worked wonders for them. But as time has gone on, they've thrown a bit more classic rock into the mix, and that's working too. That pivots continue with "Haven't Lived It Yet," the lead single from the Drin's newly announced I Lost My Way For Centuries. The album is a behemoth — 23 tracks encompassing 74 minutes, a real "fill the CD-R" situation — and this early preview reminds me of the Beta Band in all the best ways.
