The Heartbreakers Reunite Alongside Chris Stapleton at Americana Awards: Watch

The Heartbreakers reunited Wednesday night at the 2026 Americana Honors & Awards in Nashville, taking the stage at the Ryman Auditorium as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Original members Mike Campbell, Benmont Tench, Stan Lynch, and Ron Blair came together for their first performance since 2017, joined by Chris Stapleton for “American Girl” and “Breakdown.” Later, longtime Heartbreakers Steve Ferrone and Scott Thurston joined the group for a closing rendition of “You Wreck Me.” Watch footage of the performance below.
