‘The Legend Of Zelda’ is getting a 40th anniversary orchestral tour

Nintendo has confirmed that The Legend Of Zelda is getting a global orchestral concert tour series to celebrate 40 years of the iconic adventure game series. READ MORE: The biggest video game concerts you can’t miss in 2026 Earlier today (September 8), Nintendo hosted a 30-minute Direct to tell fans what the company had planned to celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Legend Of Zelda. The Direct started with a live orchestral performance of Koji Kondo’s iconic score set against footage from the past 40 years of Zelda games, showcasing the evolution of Link, Zelda and Ganon and the story of wisdom, power and courage that unfolds. “The music in the first game was made using just three audio channels. In more recent games, you can enjoy more bombastic music as well as more subtle, orchestral movements,” he explained before saying Nintendo wanted “more people to enjoy the music live.” Koji Kondo then confirmed that an orchestral tour would kick off next year.
