Tom Holland admits that some of his movies are “shit”

Tom Holland has admitted some of his previous projects haven’t been easy to promote, admitting he’s secretly thought some were “shit” while doing press. The British actor is currently promoting both The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which are out within weeks of each other, with the latter hitting cinemas in the UK on Wednesday (July 29). On a recent appearance on an episode of the Dish Podcast, Holland spoke with hosts Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett about the nature of press cycles, touching on the need to occasionally talk up a project, regardless of his feelings on it. “I’m absolutely loving it. When you’re doing press for movies you’re really proud of, it’s really easy,” he said. “Because when they ask you questions about why should people go and watch this movie, you’re not lying to anyone.
