Tool’s Danny Carey and The Cult’s John Tempesta (also formerly of White Zombie) performed with the “Blue Thunder” drumline prior to the Seattle Seahawks home game versus the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Both Carey and Tempesta wore No. 12 Seahawks jerseys, which must have been a bit tough for Carey, who grew up just outside of Kansas City and is an avowed Chiefs fan. The Seahawks ended up winning the game 20-3.
Earlier this season, the surviving members of Soundgarden, along with Taylor Momsen and Mike McCready, performed at a Seahawks home game, and were also joined by the “Blue Thunder” drumline.
The Cult will be hitting the road with Carey’s Tool bandmate Maynard James Keenan, as they were recently announced as support on A Perfect Circle’s 2027 North American tour (pick up tickets here).
