Tori Amos paid tribute to Glen Hansard during her concert at Boston’s Leader Bank Pavilion on Friday night, performing the Swell Season’s “Falling Slowly” in memory of the late Irish musician. Hansard co-wrote “Falling Slowly” with Markéta Irglová, his collaborator in the Swell Season. After initially appearing on the duo’s 2006 self-titled album, the ballad became the centerpiece of their film Once and earned the pair the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2008.
