Troye Sivan Announces New Album She’s The Best, Reunites With Nicole Kidman For Video

Troye Sivan has announced his fourth studio album She's The Best, the follow-up to 2023's Something To Give Each Other, out Oct. 9. He's shared the title track and gorgeous video (visual poem?) starring drag legend Sasha Colby and AMC icon Nicole Kidman. Kidman and Sivan previously worked together in the 2018 film Boy Erased. Sivan worked on the track with Leland, George Daniel, Jack Antonoff, and Styalz Fuego."She's The Best" is unexpected. After a few listens, it becomes a revelation. Understated and poetic, the track finds Sivan reciting spoken-word lyrics about an anonymous femme muse — one who could be our best friend, a celebrity, or the one who resides within all of us. Sparse piano accents the words, which touch on thin cigarettes, cum-stained dresses, and takedowns of incels.
