Trump Says Kennedy Center Could Be “Ripped Down” If He Doesn’t Receive Recognition

This week, after a federal judge once again rejected an attempt to add his name to the building, Donald Trump, through the board he appointed, moved to close the Kennedy Center, citing so-called safety concerns and financial issues while halting a $257 million renovation plan. But it seems the president is considering even more extremes measures if he is not recognized as he told reporters during a gaggle on Wednesday night. “For me to go and fix it… I’m the one capable of fixing it, and then have to subsidize it for years to come because you will lose with the Kennedy Center.
