Twenty One Pilots and Ashnikko conjured their own worlds on day two at Sziget Festival 2026

From Twenty One Pilots’ spectacularly ambitious headline set to Ashnikko’s otherworldly imaginarium on the Revolut Stage, there was a real sense of occasion on the Island of Freedom. Upon arrival, NME was greeted by a bunch of friendly punters dressed in bodysuits that made it look like they were naked, though they had glammed up with bow ties for the lads and fancy handbags for the women. We also took a stroll through the Travelling Funfair to find a small puppet pig in genial conversation with a couple of Szigetians. Although it’s annual rather than once-in-a-generation, this festival is pretty eye-popping too.
