Tyler, The Creator Deactivates X Account

Tyler, The Creator rose as a founding member of the Odd Future collective, who largely leaned into extreme depictions of violent acts in some of their early works. This week, Tyler, The Creator has deactivated his X account and fans seem to believe it’s connected to some of his old tweets. Tyler, The Creator, now 35, found fame with Odd Future at 18 and unleashed a barrage of acclaimed, if often alarming releases that fit his former collective’s motif of edgy content for the sake of shock and awe. That same approach carried over to Tyler’s social media presence, in particular X, formerly Twitter, where he amassed a large following.In times past, Tyler has landed in hot water due to his past tweets that have made offensive remarks against celebrities, casual use of the n-word, dropping the f-bomb, and all manner of insults for reasons that may only be attributed to the wildness of youth.
