Record Store Day takes place next month and gamers can expect vinyl releases of Undertale, Cyberpunk 2077 and Pokémon soundtracks.

The 19th Record Store Day is set to take place on Saturday April 18, celebrating independent record shops and vinyl culture in the UK. More than 300 UK and Ireland record shops will be taking part alongside thousands of indie retailers worldwide, selling an array of exclusive physical releases.

CMAT, Gigi Perez, Air, HAIM, Olivia Dean, PinkPantheress, RAYE, Rose Gray, Self Esteem, Sleep Token, The Last  Dinner Party, Wolf Alice and more will all be releasing limited-edition vinyl for Record Store Day 2026 but there are also a handful of gaming soundtracks to look out for.

A special 10th anniversary remix album celebrating the beloved Undertale soundtrack is being released by Monstercat and Firaga Records. The “RSD First” release is limited to 1000 copies but a wider release is expected for later in the year alongside the previously confirmed global orchestral tour.

We are pleased to share that all of this year’s Video Game Music titles on the Record Store Day lists are Materia Music releases.

Cyberpunk 2077 fans can look forward to ‘Ronin’ getting a vinyl release. The album was created by Angel Of Man as a “love letter to the world of Cyberpunk 2077”. It originally hit streaming last year but this new vinyl release will feature a previously unreleased bonus track. “From high-octane anthems like ‘Extraction Action’ and ‘The Heist’ to reflective soundscapes such as ‘Outsider No More’ and ‘Rite of Passage’, ‘Ronin: Cyberpunk 2077’ embodies the chaos, rebellion, and neon-soaked beauty of Night City,” reads the RSD listing.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pokémon, a new remix album featuring “lo-fi and sleep-inspired” tracks from across the franchise is being released for Record Store Day.

‘Video Game LoFi: Sleepy Pokémon Beats’ features 15 remixes from a variety of Curaga Records and Chill Ghost artists. “With lush textures, warm tape-saturated drums, gentle jazzy undertones, and ethereal chillhop arrangements, this album transforms iconic Pokémon melodies into serene lo-fi experiences perfect for relaxation, study, or simply revisiting beloved childhood memories,” says the official description.

Olivia Dean has been named as the ambassador for Record Store Day 2026, following in the footsteps of Sam Fender, Kate Bush, Taylor Swift, The 1975, Noel Gallagher and Elton John. “Independent record stores are such special spaces to discover and share music – to actually touch it and feel it. I’ve found so much inspiration in the records I’ve collected over the years and am so grateful for all the hidden gems I’ve found,” she said in a statement. “I want to thank the record stores around the world for all the support you’ve given me over the years. It’s so important we continue to support them and keep them alive!”
