Violent Femmes have announced a new Spring 2025 US tour leg during which they’ll perform their first two albums in full, just like they did on their recently wrapped fall outing.
The tour kicks off March 18th in Houston, Texas, and wraps up April 3rd in Cocoa, Florida. The next night, the Femmes will perform a special April 4th concert at Florida’s Adderley Amphitheater at Cascades Park with the Tallahassee Symphony, which will not be a two-album show.

An artist pre-sale starts Wednesday (November 20th) at 10 a.m. local time using the code ADDITUP via Ticketmaster, while a Live Nation pre-sale begins Thursday (November 21st) at 10 a.m. local time with the code BEATS. A general on-sale starts on Friday (November 22nd) at 10 a.m. local time.
The acoustic-punk veterans will perform their sophomore album Hallowed Ground first at each stop, followed by their iconic self-titled LP, and ending with a few additional favorites. There will be no opening acts throughout the tour.
Hallowed Ground, released in 1984, features such favorites as “Country Death Song” and “Jesus Walking on the Water.” Meanwhile, 1983’s Violent Femmes is one of the greatest debut albums of all time, featuring classics like “Blister in the Sun,” “Kiss Off,” “Add It Up,” and “Prove My Love,” among other memorable tracks.
As previously reported, Violent Femmes will also support My Chemical Romance at the July 11th kickoff of the “Long Live The Black Parade” tour in Seattle.
