Elton John opened the new Apple Music Hall at Battersea Power Station last night (Monday September 28) – with the show also broadcast outside the venue for fans to watch. The concert was livestreamed globally through Apple Music, while footage from Battersea Power Station showed the performance being projected onto the outside of the venue, meaning those who had not secured tickets could still catch a glimpse of the opening-night show. John opened proceedings with ‘Your Song’, before digging deeper into his early catalogue for ‘The Greatest Discovery’ and ‘Border Song’.
