Despite rain in the build-up, the show went ahead with a production involving multiple costume changes, pyrotechnics and more than 100 dancers, before Minogue ended the show suspended high above the MCG. Watch the full performance here: The show began with a pre-recorded sequence celebrating Minogue’s Melbourne roots, in which she recited lyrics from Mike Brady’s much-loved Australian football anthem ‘One Day In September’. Its melody was then woven into ‘Light Up’, the song created for Minogue’s three-part Netflix documentary Kylie, while the introduction also nodded to her early hit ‘I Should Be So Lucky’.
