Matthew McConaughey performed a bluegrass cover for Ella Langley’s country song ‘Choosin’ Texas’ on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, winning approval from the singer herself. As well as being known for his distinctive Texas accent, he is a co-owner of Major League Soccer team Austin FC, and a professor at the University Of Texas. During an appearance on Fallon’s show last night (August 12), he and the host sang together on a live bluegrass cover of Langley’s 2025 hit, which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the US and number three in the UK.
