Metallica have launched their huge residency at the Las Vegas Sphere, and kicked off the shows with the first performance of ‘…And Justice For All’ in over 10 years. It comes amid a busy few years of touring for James Hetfield and co., with them being on the road frequently for their mammoth ‘M72’ tour, celebrating the release of their latest album ‘72 Seasons’. Now, they have kicked off their first gig at the venue with a spectacular visual display and by breaking out ‘Master Of Puppets’ classic ‘Battery’ – opening the show with that track for the first time since 2014. From there, they broke out fellow fan favourite ‘Creeping Death’, before playing ‘Hardwired… to Self-Destruct’ song ‘Now That We’re Dead’ for the first time since 2021.
