My Chemical Romance played ‘Bulletproof Heart’ for the first time in four years as they kicked off the North American leg of their ‘Long Live The Black Parade’ anniversary tour. As always, on their opening night at the Citi Field stadium in New York, Gerard Way and co. performed their 2006 album ‘The Black Parade’ in full but as they moved to the B-stage in the venue, they also performed the 2010 single from ‘Danger Days’ for the first time since 2022. They went on to play ‘The Black Parade: The B-Sides’ track ‘Heaven Help Us’ along with hits like ‘I’m Not Okay (I Promise)’, ‘Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)’, ‘Give ‘Em Hell, Kid’ and ‘Helena’. They wrapped up their performance with ‘Demolition Lovers’, from their 2002 debut album ‘I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love’. It comes after the emo icons completed the European leg of their tour which included three nights at Wembley Stadium the final one of which saw Way to discuss the video game Baldur’s Gate.
