A tribute to the latter saw Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin join Schitt’s Creek actors Annie Murphy and Dan Levy to pay homage to the beloved comedy actor, who was best known for films such as Beetlejuice and TV shows such as The Studio. She died on January 30 of a pulmonary embolism, and her on-screen children paid tribute last night, with Culkin, nodding to the Home Alone films, saying: “We remember her as the forgetful mother, right? But we’ll never forget about her.” After their intro, Kahan took the stage to perform Simon & Garfunkel‘s brooding ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ playing acoustic guitar and backed by a string section.
