Oasis‘s new documentary Don’t Look Back In Anger received an eight-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival last night (September 5). The film centres on the band’s 2024 reunion and huge ‘Live ‘25’ tour dates. It is produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace (Meet Me In The Bathroom). At the end of the screening, the Gallaghers soaked up the applause while holding hands and raising them triumphantly. At one point, Noel even appeared to be wiping tears from his eyes, while Liam was later seen eyeing his watch and mouthing, “Should we fuck off?” before Knight convinced them to stay.
