Pixies have brought out Pearl Jam‘s Eddie Vedder to perform ‘Wave Of Mutilation’ in California. Check out the footage below. READ MORE: Pearl Jam – ‘Dark Matter’ review: some of their strongest work in recent memory The moment took place at this year’s instalment of Ohana Festival, which was curated by Vedder and held at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California over the weekend. On Sunday (September 27), Pixies took to the main stage for a stripped back set with 16 songs including ‘Gouge Away’ , ‘Debaser’, ‘Here Comes Your Man’, ‘Where Is My Mind?’ and covers of both The Jesus And Mary Chain’s ‘Head On’ and ‘In Heaven (Lady in the Radiator Song’ by Peter Ivers and David Lynch. For their rendition of ‘Wave Of Mutilation’ – which featured on their huge 1989 album ‘Doolittle’ – frontman Frank Black introduced it as “a little nautical song” which was fitting to break out while they were “here by the beach”.
