Slayyyter has performed her version of Turnstile’s ‘Birds’ live for the first time during a show in Atlanta – check out footage below. She performed ‘Birds: Slayyyter Version’ at the end of her main set, immediately after ‘Brittany Murphy’, before returning for an encore of ‘Brand New Chanel$’ and ‘Beat Up Chanel$’. It marked the first time she has played the reworking live, having originally recorded her take on ‘Birds’ for Turnstile’s ‘Never Enough: Versions’ reworked album, which arrived on August 28. The 22-track project saw songs from Turnstile’s fourth album reimagined by a wide-ranging cast of artists, including Elton John, Hayley Williams, Blood Orange, A. G. Cook, Faye Webster, Four Tet, Oklou, Floating Points, Nourished By Time, Alex G, Julien Baker and Mustafa.
