Tori Amos has paid tribute to the late Glen Hansard by covering The Swell Season’s ‘Falling Slowly’ in Boston – watch footage below. Hansard, the frontman of The Frames and one half of The Swell Season, died following a motorcycle crash in Dublin in Wednesday (July 29). He was 56 years old. A number of major names in the music industry have paid tribute to him in recent days, including Bruce Springsteen, Bono and Billie Eilish, and now Amos has performed a musical dedication to him during a show at the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston, Massachusetts on Friday night (July 31). She played a touching, tender piano rendition of the song that Hansard wrote alongside his Swell Season bandmate and Once co-star Markéta Irglová. The two picked up the Academy Award for Best Original Song for the track in 2008.
