Wavves to Rerecord Say Anything Collab Album Following Max Bemis Allegations

Four days after Say Anything’s Max Bemis cancelled a series of acoustic performances amid allegations he sent inappropriate messages to underage fans, Wavves’ Nathan Williams has weighed in on the status of the duo’s upcoming collab album, Cherry Soda.“Going back into the studio on Monday and I will finish this as a proper wavves album,” Williams wrote on Instagram. “I’ll have more announcements soon.”Accusations of inappropriate behavior by Bemis were first raised last month, when alleged flirtatious messages with two teenaged fans were shared to the Say Anything subreddit.
