You Are An Angel (Glass Beach’s J McClendon) Shares Album Outtakes “Candyglass” & “Baroque”

Early this year J McClendon, who formerly headed up the excellent, hyper-online emo band Glass Beach, released It's Fine To Dream, her debut album under a new moniker, You Are An Angel. This past weekend, McClendon released two more songs left over from the It's Fine To Dream sessions. They're called "Candyglass" and "Baroque," and had this to say about them:two songs that were in the running for it's fine to dream but were cut relatively late in the process, now with shiny brand new mixes! i always loved these two tracks a lot, but felt they clashed tonally with the rest of the album. i'm very happy to finally be officially releasing them!Furthermore:there is so much more YAAA music on the way, though it might be more singles / small EPs like this before another big album release. it's been very nice for me to just focus on making individual songs as good as they can be rather than trying to apply that level of polish across 45 minutes - 1 hour of music. i also have been doing many genre experiments that don't exactly work together on the same album but stand strong as singles. some of my favorite songs i've ever written are on the way, hope yall are looking forward to that as muc...
