Acid Bath and Blood Incantation have been announced as the headliners of the 2025 iteration of Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Denver.
The annual two-day metal gathering is set for December 5th and 6th at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver. Hometown heroes Blood Incantation will perform their first local show in two years on Friday the 5th, with a reunited Acid Bath performing on Saturday the 6th. There is also a Thursday pre-fest show (lineup TBA) at Ratio Beerworks on Larimer Street on Thursday (December 4th) for three-day pass holders.
An Acid Bath pre-sale starts Wednesday (March 19th) at 11AM MT for two-day passes and three-day passes using the code COLDSKY, while a Live Nation pre-sale begins Thursday (March 20th) at 10 a.m. MT using the code FUNKY. General ticket sales start Friday (March 21st) at 10 a.m. MT via Ticketmaster.
The appearance by Acid Bath adds another date to their recently expanded reunion tour, marking the band’s first shows in 28 years. Blood Incantation, meanwhile, topped Heavy Consequence‘s list of the 30 Best Metal & Hard Rock Albums of 2024 with their critically acclaimed LP Absolute Elsewhere.
As for the rest of the Decibel Denver lineup, the festival’s press release states that the full list will be “unveiled in the coming months,” as will the annual slate of craft breweries in attendance.
The Denver fest marks Decibel‘s second major metal festival of 2025, with the previously announced Metal & Beer Fest: Philly set for April 4th and 5th. Thrash pioneers Exodus and death metal vets Dismember are headlining the Philadekphia evemt, with tickets available here.
