Addison Rae has officially announced her anticipated debut album, ‘Addison’.

Rae made the reveal via social media last night (April 23), revealing its name, release date and cover art. ‘Addison’ is due for release on June 6 via Columbia Records – you can pre-save the album on digital streaming platforms or pre-order the album now.

In a social post, the rising pop musician described the record as “a mirror. A deep desperation and desire to understand myself better. A true collection of my proudest work yet.”

She also teased that the record will feature her “dream collaborators” but has yet to reveal the feature list or tracklist.

The album announce comes after she teased fans at Coachella with the impending record’s release date on her underwear. While appearing during Arca‘s set at the Californian festival, she cheekily turned around to reveal the date June 6 on the back of her underwear. Little else was said at the time, leading fans to believe that the album would be out then.

This past weekend (April 19), Rae appeared as a special guest during Charli XCX’s Coachella set, where she joined the latter for their remix of ‘Von Dutch’, taken off the ‘Brat’ remix album.

Rae’s pivot from TikTok creator to pop star has seen her steadily release music since 2021, starting with ‘Obsessed‘. Her debut EP, ‘AR’ followed in 2023, but her breakthrough came after the Charli collab, which was followed by the chart-topping ‘Diet Pepsi’.

In NME‘s round-up of the 50 best songs of 2024, ‘Diet Pepsi’ came in at Number 44. “Addison Rae’s ascent from TikTok choreographer to burgeoning pop icon may have seemed unlikely three years ago, but for those attuned to early leaks of ‘2 Die 4’ it seemed written in the stars,” NME wrote.

“So, when ‘Diet Pepsi’ arrived, rich in dreamy harmonies and transcendent musings on young love, it seemed those celestial forces had at last aligned.”
