Aerosmith and Yungblud have announced the One More Time EP, a five-song collaborative release arriving November 21st.
They also dropped the lead single “My Only Angel” after previously teasing the song earlier in the week, marking Aerosmith’s first new music in over 12 years.
The four-plus-minute track is an uplifting love song that sees Steven Tyler and Yungblud performing a duet, the former taking the mid-to-lower register while the latter carries the higher end. They blend together well in the mix — especially during the soaring melodic chorus. Meanwhile, the steady guitar playing of Joe Perry and Brad Whitford churns away for the duration.
“My Only Angel” is one of four new originals co-written by Aerosmith and Yungblud that are included on the EP, which also features a new 2025 remix of “Back in the Saddle.”
Notably, drummer Matt Sorum (ex-Guns N’ Roses) “lends his presence behind the kit across the EP,” per a press release, joining classic Aerosmith members Tyler, Perry, Whitford, and bassist Tom Hamilton in the studio. Original drummer Joey Kramer had not been touring with the band prior to their retirement from the road last year, with John Douglas filling in at live shows.
The collab announcement follows Tyler, Perry, and Yungblud’s joint performance as part of the VMAs’ tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne earlier this month. The trio performed three Black Sabbath/Ozzy classics, receiving a mixed reaction from some.
