Aldi has renamed a Manchester branch “Aldeh” in honour of Oasis kicking off their highly anticipated reunion tour this week.
The huge comeback tour begins on Friday night (July 4) in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium – the first of 19 shows in the UK and Ireland – with support acts Richard Ashcroft and Cast.
From there, the band will head to their hometown of Manchester for five giant gigs in Heaton Park on June 11, 12, 16, 19 and 20.
In anticipation of their homecoming shows, Aldi has rebranded a store within less than a one-mile radius of the stadium as “Aldeh”, in a tribute to the Mancunian dialect and the city’s musical heritage.
The new sign comes along with “90s-inspired bucket hats” complete with an Aldimania logo.
Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, says: “Manchester is a vibrant city with a rich musical history, and with the Oasis reunion, we wanted to mark the occasion. By temporarily renaming our Bury New Road store to ‘Aldeh,’ we’re celebrating both the local dialect and the legendary band that has brought so much joy to fans worldwide.”

Ahead of the shows kicking off, Liam Gallagher recently revealed that the opening show in Cardiff will have a start time of 8:15pm, telling fans: “Don’t be late or we’ll start without you and you don’t want that now do ya”.
The UK and Ireland run includes seven dates at London’s Wembley Stadium, and will be followed by gigs in Canada, the US and Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil. The 2025 tour consists of 41 dates in total, ending on November 23 in São Paulo.
Earlier this week, the band teased that additional tickets to the tour could be on sale soon, with production releases being made available in the coming days.
Cage The Elephant will support in North America and Mexico, while indie favourites Ball Park Music will be opening for all five of the Australian reunion shows. Supporting acts for the band’s Asia and South American dates have yet to be announced.
It was also recently announced that, as well as the UK dates, Cast would be joining for US shows in California and New Jersey.
The Gallagher Brothers recently reunited on camera to launch a line of Adidas Originals gear, although the ad was met with some criticism. Liam once again took to X to address the disapproval, remarking, “Oasis don’t discriminate”.
In other news, Oasis have urged fans to book their places now for the ‘Live ‘25’ merchandise pop-up stores in order to avoid queues.
Elsewhere, Liam recently responded to reports that Oasis’ crew have not been given tickets to the reunion tour, quipping they “don’t have friends”.
