Amoeba Music Hosts CHAT PILE On Newest What's In My Bag Episode

3 weeks ago 14

The "What's In My Bag" idea has existed for years at this point – and has seen many versions and series come from it. But, Amoeba Music's series has got to be up there with one of the better takes on the trend.

Letting an artist – whether a musician, actor, or otherwise – loose throughout their store in Hollywood, filling up their bags with different picks of all kinds of mediums. Film, television, music, literature… the interview subject has free reign to pick up what they want. It's meant to be the truest representation of themselves.

And Chat Pile was one of the most recent bands to grace Amoeba Music's store and series, going throughout the store, picking up films like All The Haunts Be Ours: A Compendium of Folk Horror and The Fear and records from Scratch Acid and Filth Of Mankind. Most notably, the band picked up far more films than anything else, several of them on VHS.
