Beyoncé‘s mother Tina Knowles is set to take her new memoir on tour this spring – find more details below.
Back in October, the mother of the pop icon announced her new book, titled Matriarch: A Memoir, with a synopsis billing it as “a multigenerational family saga that carries within it the story of America – and the wisdom that women pass on to each other, mothers to daughters, across generations.”
At the time, Beyoncé expressed her pride with an Instagram post, writing that she “couldn’t be prouder”, and playfully asking Knowles not to “spill too much Mama Tea”.
Matriarch: A Memoir is set for release on April 22, 2025 and is available for pre-order here.
Today (March 19), Knowles shared she’d be hitting the road for a book tour joined by “legends, icons, and friends”, with a nine show trek set to include stops in Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, New Orleans, Toronto, Chicago, Brooklyn, and London.
While moderators for some dates are yet to be announced, Knowles will kick off the tour by sitting down with former first lady Michelle Obama for a Q&A in Washington, DC on April 30.
Tickets for the US dates go on sale this Friday (March 21) at 10 am local time here. Tickets for the sole UK date go on sale the same day at 2pm GMT, and you can find yours here.
VIP packages will also be available, with premium tickets, meet and greats and photo opportunities with Knowles available. For more information visit here.
“I’m so excited to take Matriarch on the road and extend the conversation beyond the pages. Storytelling has always been a part of who I am – something I learned from my mother – and now, at 71, I finally understand who I truly am,” Knowles said of the tour in a statement.
“This journey has been about strength motherhood, family pride, and identity, and I hope these conversations help others embrace their own stories and celebrate the power of knowing what we deserve.”
