ANOHNI to present new show at the Barbican

Wilderness will see ANOHNI perform alongside pianist Gael Rakotondrabe and drummer Chris Vatalaro in the Barbican Hall, with the evening featuring music from her catalogue — drawing from albums including Am A Bird Now, The Crying Light, Hopelessness, and My Back Was A Bridge For You To Cross — positioned against a backdrop of her original films. The London show will be the final stop to conclude a short run of performances through Barcelona, Brussels, Amsterdam, and Paris.

This follows two shows curated at the Barbican last year — appearing with an ensemble as ANOHNI and the Johnsons — as well as European headline shows, festival appearances at Primavera, Glastonbury, and Roskilde, and a Tiny Desk performance which dropped in July.
