Launched today during The Great Escape festival in Brighton, the fund, backed by Amazon Music – is in its fourth year and has already supported over 30 artists with a total of £250,000 since 2022. These grants can be used for touring, recording, marketing, and content creation.
“This funding is an investment in creativity, and it can make a huge difference to all who receive it, as well as to the future of music talent in the UK," explains FAC CEO David Martin.
This year’s announcement comes as the FAC co-curates The Great Escape conference, highlighting challenges, including rising touring costs, an issue the organisation recently addressed in Parliament. The deadline for applications is 31 May 2025.
