Asake Announces 2026 North American Tour

Nigerian singer Asake is bringing his singular take on Afrobeats back to North America as part of a forthcoming arena tour.

The “In God We Trust Tour” has 10 stops slated from late August to early September, including Chicago, Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, and Miami. Asake will be joined by Swazi DJ Uncle Waffles for the entire run.

“This tour will bring the themes of M$NEY to life: It’s a reflection of everything the album represents, from gratitude to growth,” said Asake in a statement. “I look forward to taking this experience across the globe.”

The artist pre-sale is set for Wednesday, May 27th at 10 a.m. local time. The general on-sale happens Friday, May 29th at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.

As mentioned, Asake is touring in support of his latest album, M$NEY. Upon its release earlier this month, the album landed at the No. 1 spot on Apple Music across 19 countries, and helped further establish Asake as the guiding force of a genre combining fújì, Afropop, and Amapiano sounds/traditions. M$NEY also follows a rather prolific run by the 31-year-old artist, who dropped projects in 2022 (Mr. Money with the Vibe); 2023 (Work of Art); and 2024 (Lungu Boy). He also teamed up with fellow Nigerian Wizkid for this spring’s Real, Vol. 1 EP.
