Earlier today, it was announced that the United States Of America was celebrating its 250th birthday with a series of concerts this summer. The lineup for the Great American State Fair included Morris Day And The Time, but the Minneapolis funk veterans have already dropped off the bill.
On Instagram, Day posted a picture with the text, "Contrary to rumor, Morris Day & The Time will not be performing at the 'Great American State Fair.'" In the caption, the 68-year-old singer-songwriter added, "It's A No For Me," notably with the sunglasses emoji.
The lineup also has Milli Vanilli, C+C Music Factory, Young MC, Bret Michaels, Flo Rida, Martina McBride, the Commodores, and allegedly "many more." It takes place on Washington, DC's National Mall from June 25 to July 10.
