Japanese pop-metal band BABYMETAL have unveiled the latest single from their upcoming album, METAL FORTH, set for release August 8th. The song “Kon! Kon!” features Indian nu-metal act Bloodywood, marking the second collaboration between the two acts.
Previously BABYMETAL and Bloodywood teamed up on the track “Bekhauf,” which made Heavy Consequence‘s list of the Best Metal & Hard Rock Songs of 2024.
A music video for “Kon! Kon!” was recently filmed at BABYMETAL’s June 24th show at the Theater at Madison Square Garden, where Bloodywood were the support act. The live clip shows Bloodywood joining BABYMETAL onstage for the explosive song.
The New York City show was part of BABYMETAL’s summer North American tour, which is scheduled through a July 23rd concert in Phoenix. Tickets to the remaining dates are available here.
