Bathing Suits win The Steve Strange Award 2026

Having just released their debut EP KILL Bathing Suits last month, Bathing Suits have been making a clear impression on the live circuit.

The vote was decided on by The Great Escape delegates, who recognised Bathing Suits as "one of the most exciting breakthrough acts" to perform at the twentieth anniversary of the showcase. The band will receive £5,000 to support them in their future endeavours.

The Steve Strange Award was created in memory of late music agent Steve Strange, who is remembered for his longstanding support of emerging artists. The award celebrates fresh talent that makes a significant impact at The Great Escape, and has previously spotlighted the likes of Zetra, AGGRASOPPAR, Audio Books and more.
