Beck’s back. He’s got a new single out—his first original music since 2023—and a slate of North American tour dates lined up for the Fall. The Ride Lonesome Tour runs from September 16 through the end of October, and includes two nights apiece in each of San Francisco, Toronto, and Brooklyn. Scroll down for the full itinerary.
The new song, also called “Ride Lonesome,” was mixed by Nigel Godrich, who produced three of Beck’s albums during the late ’90s and 2000s. In particular, it could pass for an outtake from 2002’s stripped-down Sea Change. Below, watch an aptly solitary music video helmed by Beck and regular collaborator Mikai Karl.
Read about Sea Change at No. 82 in The 200 Best Albums of the 2000s.
