The moment came after years of public tension between the two. They were once close, with West discovering Sean back in 2007 and signing him to his record label, G.O.O.D Music, but the two publicly fell out in 2021, when Sean claimed West owed him $6million. That same year, West said signing Sean to his record label G.O.O.D. Music, through which his music was released from 2007 through 2021, was the “worst thing I’ve ever done”.
