Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong jumped onstage with Sex Pistols Featuring Frank Carter at the Tons of Rock festival in Oslo, Norway, on Thursday (June 26th) to perform the classic “Anarchy in the U.K.”
With Green Day set to headline later in the evening, Armstrong was watching the Sex Pistols’ set from the side of the stage. About 90 seconds into the song, Armstrong ran out onto the catwalk and joined Carter in singing the punk anthem.

The two put their arms around each other, as Carter screamed “Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Billie Joe Armstrong!” The Green Day singer looked like the Pistols’ biggest fan as he jumped up and down and sang with Carter, engaging the audience in a sing-along before eventually walking off stage and letting Carter and the Pistols finish the song themselves.
