Today, Brooklyn hardcore legends Biohazard erupt back onto the scene with their blistering new single "Eyes On Six", the first taste of their highly anticipated album Divided We Fall — their first studio release in more than ten years — arriving October 17 via BLKIIBLK. The track comes paired with a fiery new music video, a fitting reintroduction for one of hardcore's most influential bands.
Guitarist and vocalist Billy Graziadei explains the mindset behind "Eyes On Six": "You don't have to come from the 'cold streets' to feel like the odds are stacked against you and to know what it feels like to rise above hard times – when we find ways to survive, against all odds, we adopt a mindset of welcoming challenges.
"Forged in fire, that strength and determination and grit and heart is the underlying credo of Biohazard. Knock us down nine times, we'll get up a tenth time and push forward, no matter what! No matter where you come from, play your cards right, know who your friends are, and keep your circle tight!"
That credo pulses through the band's legacy, from their early days blending hardcore punk, metal, and streetwise groove into a sound that became a cultural force in the '90s, to their return now with sharpened ferocity.
Produced, mixed, and mastered by Matt Hyde (Slayer, Hatebreed, Deftones), Divided We Fall captures Biohazard at their most raw and uncompromising while offering a unifying voice for fractured times.
Lead guitarist Bobby Hambel says: "We are really excited to finally have the classic Biohazard lineup back together in the studio. This album has been a long time coming, and the record is straight from our hearts – we can't wait for everybody to hear it, and to head out and play these new songs live. See you out there!"
Legendary New York hardcore band Biohazard is set to hit the road this fall on the Divided We Fall North American tour alongside iconic hip-hop group Onyx. Support for the trek comes from Bayway and Swollen Teeth. The tour kicks off on October 3 in Pittsburgh, PA and wraps up on November 2 in New Haven, CT. Get your tickets here.
