Boy George recently revealed he's using AI to re-record his old hits. He's also using it to create new songs in support of genocidal regimes. "We Will Dance Again," the reggae song Boy George posted to his social media accounts Sunday, is ostensibly a response to the tragic Oct. 7 massacre, in which Hamas militants killed hundreds of Israelis at Nova music festival. It shares a title with Israeli filmmaker Yariv Mozer's documentary about the attack. But the song is not merely about rebounding from an act of terrorism. Boy George begins "We Will Dance Again" by denying that Israel's military action against Palestinians in Gaza is genocidal, despite multiple United Nations inquiries characterizing the campaign as genocide. "You say genocide, I say war/ When you're attacked, that's what the army's for." He later decries the artists who've spoken out against Israel: "Musicians holding flags, mouthing like sheep/ Propaganda fueled by the internet feels so weak."
