For the first time in more than two years, all seven members of BTS are reunited and planning their next musical moves. After completing their compulsory military service in South Korea, the group appeared together in a Weverse chat with fans on Tuesday, where they announced plans for a new album slated for release in spring 2026, along with an accompanying world tour.
“We’ll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year,” the group shared. “Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music. Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member’s thoughts and ideas. We’re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started.”
“We’re also planning a world tour alongside the new album. We’ll be visiting fans all around the world, so we hope you’re as excited as we are,” they added.
Ahead of their comeback album and tour, BTS will release their first-ever live album, BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – SEOUL, on July 18th. The 22-song set chronicles the group’s most recent global trek in 2021.
