The new yet-to-be-named album is due for release on 20 March. This marks BTS' first full-length work in four years, following their 2022 LP Proof. The album — which each member "devoted themselves to" creating in the latter half of 2025 — will see BTS reflect on their journey as a group across fourteen tracks, offering their individual perspectives through the music.
Members of the dedicated BTS ARMY were first informed about the comeback of the K-pop icons through handwritten letters from each member that were delivered directly to fans' homes. The letters served as a gift to members of the ARMY who maintained a subscription on Weverse, expressing gratitude for their continued support throughout BTS' career. Fans who did not receive the letters physically will be able to access them on the platform at the end of January.
Additionally, the official BTS Instagram page underwent a complete reset on New Year's Day, leading to speculation about a new era for the group. Further solidifying their return, BTS will also take to the stage for a world tour, their first since BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE, which concluded in April 2022 with a final show in Las Vegas. Details for the world tour will be announced on 14 January at midnight KST.
