It’s been a little over a year since Geese frontman Cameron Winter released his debut solo album Heavy Metal (which has been appearing on plenty of 2025 Year End Lists despite technically coming out in 2024), and while he played some smaller shows supporting it earlier this year, he’s now doing a run of solo dates in much larger spaces. His Carnegie Hall show was announced back in May, well before Geese seemed to explode overnight with the release of their new album Getting Killed in September, and it was, not surprisingly, extremely sold out, with Phish‘s Trey Anastasio and Khruangbin‘s Laura Leezy among those spotted in attendance.

Also quite prominently in attendance were Paul Thomas Anderson and Benny Safdie, who were filming the performance; PTA was right onstage with Cameron for part of the show. I’m sure I’m not alone in hoping we see that footage emerge somehow in the not too far off future! Stay tuned.

Ahead of the show, Cameron unveiled a new video for “Love Takes Miles,” starring actor Lucas Hedges (Manchester by the Sea, Lady Bird, etc). It’s delightful, and you can watch that below as well.
