‘Clair Obscur’ and ‘Zelda’ orchestral concerts spark debate about what a world tour really means

Two huge video game music tours have been confirmed for 2027 but fans are frustrated at the limited stops on the global runs. The same day, a second leg of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33’s ‘A Painted Symphony’ orchestral tour was confirmed, including a record-breaking gig at London’s O2 Arena. However some fans aren’t happy at which countries have been excluded from the current tour schedule. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33’s A Painted Symphony will play 11 shows in France and a further nine across Europe. However just four gigs have been announced in North America – two in New York and two in Los Angeles – and nothing has been announced anywhere else. Meanwhile ‘The Legend Of Zelda 40th Anniversary’ concert tour will kick-off with six shows in Japan before visiting four cities in the USA, two cities in Australia and three cities in the UK, with just one stop on mainland Europe.
