clipping. announced as guest curator for Calgary's Sled Island Music & Arts Festival 2026

Every year, Sled Island invites a guest curator to make their own special contributions to the festival's programme across the five-day event. Over the coming months, clipping.'s selections will be announced in addition to a further two hundred names across music, comedy, visual art, and conferencing organised by Sled Island. The curatorial spot also encourages an active presence at the festival, with clipping. being scheduled to play at the #1 Royal Canadian Legion on Saturday, 20 June 2026. In previous years, curators have included Show Me The Body, Sudan Archives, and Bartees Strange.

Since 2007, Sled Island Music & Arts Festival has showcased a diverse pool of talent across various venues in Calgary, bringing in over 25,000 attendees in recent years for their unique programming. Past line-ups have featured a wide range of artists, including Water From Your Eyes, Yaya Bey, W.I.T.C.H, and Horse Jumper Of Love.
